Coatesville Country Club is a place where members, families and guests gather to enjoy golf, fine dining, social events and swimming. The following dress code information is provided to inform members and their guests of what constitutes appropriate attire for each of our venues. Members are responsible for ensuring their family and guests adhere to theses guidelines. Club management will inform the member of dress code non-conformance by any family member or guest. The member is expected to take the appropriate actions to re-mediate the situation.
The following items should NOT be worn (except when planning to change in locker room):
- Shorts with a length that is shorter than 4 inches above the knee.
- Hooded sweatshirts unless they are related to a school or Coatesville Country Club.
- Clothing with large brand names, images, slogans, or logos.
- Torn, sloppy or non-tailored clothing and footwear.
- Swim suits and swimwear should only be worn in the pool area.
Findlay and Founders Room (Casual Attire)
The club wants our members and guests who are dining in the Findlay or Founders rooms to be comfortable. Casual attire is appropriate for these rooms. Casual attire for all members includes golf sportswear, collared shirts, slacks or shorts. Blue jeans are acceptable provided that the jeans are not frayed, torn, or bleached. Men should have shirts that are tucked in. Men may wear untucked shirts that are designed to be worn as untucked (e.g. tailored tropical shirts with collars, untuckit.com shirts).
Ballroom (Country Club Casual Attire)
For gentlemen, country club casual attire consists of tailored slacks, collared and turtleneck shirts (tucked in), and dress shoes. For certain ballroom events, appropriate attire may require jackets or formal business attire including shirt, tie and jackets. Hats, denim jeans, golf shoes are never permitted when attending any ballroom event. For ladies, country club casual attire consists of modest, tasteful, tailored outfits, with dress shoes or summer sandals.
